# Enumeration

Windows enumeration is a critical phase in penetration testing where we gather detailed information about a target system's environment. This step involves identifying user accounts, services, shares, and system configurations that may reveal vulnerabilities. Effective enumeration lays the groundwork for subsequent exploitation by uncovering potential attack vectors and understanding the network's structure.
